Timberlin Creek Elementary’s Rock On with Summer Reading program will have children reading over the long break to avoid the summer slide many students experience.  Please encourage reading, visit the library or book store, talk about books, and most importantly, read with your child no matter how old he or she is.
Please encourage your child to read four or more days a week outside of school.  First graders should read at least fifteen minutes at each sitting, while second, third, fourth and fifth graders should read at least twenty minutes.  Teachers will expect completion of the summer reading program at the start of the school year.  Your encouragement is needed for your child to reach this goal and earn a free book.

Participate and earn a prize.  But if you complete reading BINGO, you earn:

* A participation prize
* A free book of your choice
* Your name goes into a drawing for a new Kindle!

Reach your reading goal by completing the BINGO sheet below for your grade level.
